AI Literacy Obligation

An obligation under Article 4 of the EU AI Act requiring providers and deployers of AI to ensure an adequate level of AI competence among their personnel and other persons operating the systems on their behalf. The provision has applied since 2 February 2025. It is a practical element of enforcement: compliance also encompasses training the organization.
